Hi! I’m Lauren. As an Enneagram One, I’m a lot better at being responsible than being fun. I’d actually like to be both, and I bet you would too. Here at An Enneagram One Learns to Have Fun, I’m documenting my journey towards adding more fun into my life by utilizing the time management strategies I’ve honed over my 38 years. I’m also sharing books I’m reading, LEGO sets I’m building, and Disney trips I’m taking because these are fun!
I’m a mom to three, who I refer to as “oldest kid” (she’s 8), “middle kid” (she’s 7), and “the toddler” or “my little guy” (he’s 2.5 — is that still a toddler?). I’ve been married to my college sweetheart for almost 17 years, and he also remains nameless on the blog. I share my name because every third millennial mom you meet is named Lauren, so it’s not exactly a big reveal.
I’m an editor by trade, but I’m having a lot of fun returning to my English major roots by writing again, and I hope you have fun reading along with me! Comment if you spot a typo, and I’ll be mortified but will also FIX IT IMMEDIATELY, give you a gold star, and delete your comment so we can all move on with our lives like it never happened.
Whether you’re interested in adding more fun to your life too or you’re finding that all the fun means you aren’t actually living out your priorities, you’ll find some tools here to help you regain balance.
